I noticed the following for my 2 A/C condenser units with disconnect boxes. In one of them the plug does come out, but seems to have a bit of deformity on its plastic, as if it had gotten soft at some point in time. For the 2nd unit, the plug appears to be welded in place, I guess probably melted plastic as well. As much as I tried to pull on the plastic handle, it does not move.
