Personally I'd use an LB on the inside and the outside with a small piece of pipe between them then down the wall to a junction box if you need to go other directions vs just straight down to an underground 90.

Yes you can have a box in the wall and exposed. Also schedule 80 for the exposed run will be fine. The only issue I see in your drawing is the face of the junction box is where you have the conduit coming out. The face of the box must be accessible (have to be able to open it) but coming out the side will be fine. Unless your picture is not showing us everything, you do NOT have two ground wires! In this picture, the ground wire is pointed at by the green arrow. The bare piece of wire that I think you're seeing as another ground wire (pointed at by the red arrows) is actually (most likely) then Neutral wire, note the white insulation hiding further back in the box.I picked up a tone generator, attached it to the black wire by the outlet and was able to trace it all the way back to the switch box on the wall. None of the wires in the box were generating a tone, but then i saw a piece of romex sitting on top of the junction box loose. I managed to pull it out and sure it enough it was generating the tone .

A 3/4 emt along the top of the wall box to box is not hideous. The homeruns from the top left box in NM cable, maybe the one cable for the light or garage door opener receptacle.
